Pet Food Pantry Event In Austin Aims To Help Struggling Community

AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Humane Society (AHS) recognizes the greater need in the community as a result of the ongoing pandemic and is hosting a Pet Food Pantry event for those with pets in need of assistance. Food is distributed based on availability and a limited number of bags of food are available per household.

The event, which will take place on Saturday, February 13th from 9am to 12pm, does not offer contact delivery. Participants are asked to take note of the grocery collection process:

  • Please enter the AHS car park on the east side of our building at the Georgian entrance. Please refer to the map below. Once you have entered the parking lot, stay in your car. We offer contactless delivery of your pet food (we put the food either in your trunk or on your seat).
  • Please exit on the south side of our parking lot and take access road 183 (Research Blvd) north.
