1. Austin’s 3 Hottest Neighborhoods Revealed by the Real Estate Agency. Real estate agent Redfin published its annual ranking of the hottest neighborhoods to see in 2020 and included tips for the largest metros in the country. The three best Austins are all across town, but they have one thing in common: They are very, very popular with homebuyers.

2. The world famous Austin ice cream shop is being drawn from Rosedale due to rising rents. Austin’s soaring rental prices have claimed another popular restaurant. But it’s not all bad news. Teo fans can still buy the award-winning ice cream at local grocery stores.

3. The housewares retailer throws in the towel in the South Austin store. Bed Bath & Beyond suffered a tough third quarter last year, which resulted in the company closing stores in the US, including one in South Austin, according to a company release. Don’t throw away these 20 percent vouchers yet: the location in the Müller region is still open.
