Austin Ranked Among Worst Cities For Mosquitoes

AUSTIN, TX – One of America’s worst mosquito cities is Austin, once again on Orkin’s 2021 pest control company “Top 50 Mosquito Cities” list.

Austin moved up five places from 38th place last year to 33rd place.

According to Orkin, Los Angeles is the worst mosquito city in the United States. The City of Angels put Atlanta, where Orkin is based, in first place after the Georgia capital was number 1 for seven straight years.

Atlanta ranked second in 2021, with Washington, DC, Dallas, and Chicago completing the top 5.

Three cities – Seattle, San Diego and Fresno, California – made the top 50 after not being ranked in 2020.
