Austin Police are investigating a suspicious death on the 11900 block of Pavilion Boulevard.
Austin, Texas – – Austin Police are investigating a suspicious death on the 11900 block of Pavilion Boulevard. The shooting incident occurred in the early afternoon, but residents are still being asked to avoid the area.
According to police, Austin 911 received a call about a shooting incident at Motel 6 on Pavilion Boulevard at around 1:13 p.m. on Monday, March 22nd. The caller had informed the dispatcher that a woman had allegedly run out of a hotel room and that this had been said to have been shot. The caller also noticed that the woman was covered in blood.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they found the female victim outside a motel room with injuries related to a shooting. According to police, she was taken to a local hospital by ATCEMS. She is currently in a stable condition.
When the police entered the motel room, they found a male victim who had also been shot. According to the police, he was pronounced dead shortly after 1:30 p.m.
After speaking to witnesses, the police discovered that there may be two suspects involved in the incident. No additional information is currently available.
