Austin Pizza Truck Via 313 Is Moving Rainey Street Truck

Moving Pizza Truck
Popular pizzeria Via 313 yesterday moved its truck on Rainey Street, which was parked at the back of the Craft Pride beer bar at 61 Rainey Street. It didn’t go too far, however: it moved to the nearby Alibi bar at 96 Rainey Street. His last day of service at Craft was Sunday, March 14th and is expected to be on duty very soon, maybe possibly today Resume alibi.

Charitable Birria Pizza
The New York-style pizza restaurant Toss Pizzeria & Pub launches a monthly charitable cake series in which the restaurant donates partial sales to a selected charitable organization each month. The first is a collaboration with the food truck Tejas Birria from Buda, Texas. The result, of course, is a Birria pizza with one side of the broth designed for dipping slices. 10 percent of cake sales this month go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of central Texas. The cake is available for takeaway (pick-up and delivery) and dinner options at both locations in South First, Dawson and Bee Cave Road, Bee Cave.

In the current Texas legislature, there is a new bill aimed at uniquely labeling wines made from 100 percent Texas-grown grapes. The proposed bill would create labeling for wines made only from Texas grapes in the Texas American Viticultural Area (AVA), county, and / or vineyard. The 1957 House Bill / Senate Bill 1402, filed last week by Texas House Member John Kuempel and State Senator Dawn Buckingham, is sponsored by nonprofit Texan winemakers. This bill was proposed in 2017 and 2019 but did not get through.

New ceviche restaurant
Poke Poke Austin mini-chain co-owners Jason McVearry and Trish Fortuna opened a new restaurant, Texas Ceviche Company, in early February, as reported by Austin 360. The menu focuses on ceviche with mahi mahi or shrimp, which are available for pickup online or placed in person. The new restaurant is located on 9911 Brodie Lane by Poke Poke.
