Austin pizza spot closes another location after employees get COVID-19

KVUE – Home Slice announced that it will close its location in the South Congress after two employees tested positive for coronavirus.

This comes a week after the popular Austin pizza restaurant closed its North Loop location because one of its team members tested positive for COVID-19 there.

According to a Facebook post published on May 12, two employees of the Southern Congress who are related to each other tested positive for the virus. According to Home Slice, these employees hadn’t been in stores for five to seven days when they heard about it.

The location of the Southern Congress will remain closed until Sunday, May 17th. It will reopen on Monday, May 18th.
