Austin area groceries reopen with adjusted hours amid winter weather

Groceries in the Austin area will reopen at adjusted times in winter weather

Historic winter weather forced many local grocery stores to close yesterday, but many of them will try to reopen today. FOX 7 Austin’s Tierra new boom has details.

The historic winter storm forced many grocery stores in the Austin area to close their doors on Monday to ensure the safety of employees and customers. Today many are opening again. If you have to go to the store, don’t drive and don’t go.

HEB has reopened some stores in the Austin area and its Wimberley location from 12:00 PM and closing at 5:00 PM. The Favor Senior Support Line will be closed and delivery orders on the roadside are expected to be limited or canceled entirely. The city had long lines when the shops opened their doors.
