4 injured while shooting on Cameron Road in northeast Austin

ATCEMS says the incident appears to be isolated and poses no further threat to the public.

Four people were injured after a shooting in northeast Austin on Friday evening.

According to ATCEMS, three patients, two with critical, life-threatening injuries and one with severe injuries, were transported by medical professionals to local trauma facilities. The fourth patient was transported in a private vehicle.

Austin police and rescue workers responded to a reported gunshot wound call on the 7400 block of Cameron Road near US 183 at around 8 p.m. ATCEMS says the incident appears to be isolated and poses no further threat to the public.

ATCEMS assets were released from the scene at 9 p.m.
